S0ULMATE Child Safety Standards
Last updated 30 September 2026. Child safety contact: [email protected]
S0ULMATE (Android package com.s0ulmate.app) is a blind-dating service for adults. These are our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to everyone who uses the app and to everything shared through it.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use S0ULMATE. At sign-up you give your birthdate and confirm you are 18 or older, and you complete a live face scan before you can be matched with anyone. The app is published on Google Play for adults only. Any account we believe belongs to someone under 18 is removed from matching straight away and closed.
Zero tolerance
We do not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation in any form. It is forbidden to use S0ULMATE to:
- share, request or link to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including drawn, edited or AI-generated material;
- groom, solicit or sexualise a minor, or try to arrange to meet a minor;
- sextort, traffic or exploit a minor in any way;
- pose as or help a minor to get onto the service.
Breaking these rules leads to immediate and permanent removal from S0ULMATE and a report to the authorities.
How to report
- In the app: use Report on the date card, choose a reason (for someone who may be a minor, "Looks under 18") and describe what happened. A "Looks under 18" report goes to the top of our moderators' queue; once a moderator confirms it, or a second person who met them reports the same, the account is paused and any booked date is cancelled. You can also block the person, which ends the pairing at once.
- By email, whether or not you use S0ULMATE: write to [email protected] with the subject "Child safety". Tell us what you saw, when, and anything that helps us find the account (for example the first name shown and the date). You do not need to give your name for a report about child sexual abuse material.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 112 first.
Please do not download, copy or forward suspected abuse material, not even to send it to us. Describe it instead.
What we do
- A person on our team reviews every child safety report as a priority.
- The account is removed from matching while we review, and any current pairing is ended.
- Where we confirm a breach, we close the account permanently and remove the content.
- We keep the information needed for the authorities and to stop the person coming back, and nothing more.
- We tell the person who reported that we received the report, and what we decided.
Cooperation with authorities
We report apparent child sexual abuse material and any suspected abuse, grooming or exploitation of a child to the Romanian Police (Poliția Română) and the competent prosecutors, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests made under the law. Where there is a threat to a child's life or safety we inform the authorities promptly. We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including EU and Romanian law.
Child safety contact
Our designated contact for child safety, for users, the public, Google and authorities, is [email protected]. Messages are read by a person, in Romanian or English.
